I am Carina Jandt, a twenty something single traveller who is about to go on one of her longest journeys of her life. Travelling adds so much to a persons memories, behaviour, social awareness and plainly just life. New cultures excite me and learning from them enables me to become a more rounded person. I look forward to meeting new people on the way and to be able to be taking as much out of this trip as possible.

 

After having travelled for 3 months and a week trip through Central and South America, and through Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand for a month, I am eager to explore more continents.  I am looking forward to the meeting new characters and make new friendships along the way. You will never know what to expect and what group dynamics will form, but I am sure that it will be an unique time.

 

This time I am off to Africa and to see amazing landscapes and attempt the big 5. Wish me luck!

 

I have decided to write this blog to be able to give the people back home an insight as to what I got to see and do during my journey and also to be able to better remember myself where I went and where I saw what. I suppose that there is quite a bit you do forget over such a long period of time.
